| Boomerang Ed’s market leading secondary diaries have had a makeover. The traditional key stage three and four diaries have been completely renewed using a magazine style design that combines full colour photographs and graphics. The fundamental idea behind a homework diary is for students to use them as a planning and work management tool and, in addition, to provide a means of communication between school and home. The new 2007/2008 Boomerang diaries do not deviate from this and the new designs benefit from more clean, white space for writing than ever before and a larger comments box. Boomerang Ed went back to the drawing board with this product after the introduction last year of three core company values: Creativity, Responsibility, Discovery. Using each of these values the diaries have been redesigned to allow students to get more from a tool that they use every day in school. Each page has something to engage a student’s interest, even in areas that might not normally interest them. The diaries are varied and visually stimulating with short, punchy content covering subjects as varied as science fiction, family trees, renewable energy and brain food.
